CAROLINE KRAUS grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from The College of William and Mary in 1989, she moved to San Francisco, where she was a bookseller and photographer. Returning east, she earned a Master’s in Media Studies at the New School for Social Research in New York City. Following graduate school she spent several summers at the Iowa Summer Writing Festival, where her book
Borderlines was born. Now living in Northern California, Caroline is a writer, multimedia artist and online editor for arts and education institutions.
